Elemis Pro collagen marine cream review

now i have flirted with nearly the whole Elemis range and its all really good but more or less too expensive to buy constantly. I started using the Pro collagen marine cream about 2 months ago and at first i thought it was a pretty bog standard moisturiser but the more i used it the better my skin has been feeling. As I'm approaching 30 i got myself into a bit of a panic about lines around my eyes and was feeling my skin was looking tired but this stuff has really smoothed it out and has got rid of all my flakies. I have super oily spot prone skin but this isn't oily at all but at the same time its super moisturising.
It costs an eye watering £75 for 30ml but i managed to get the 50ml for around £35 and its lasted 2 months so far of twice a day use. I hope i can get it cheap again as there is no way I'll be shelling out nearly £80 for a moisturiser no matter how good it is.

Pearl Lowe for Peacocks.

So i realised online the other day that Pearl Lowe ex powder singer and Danny Goffey from supergrasses wife and mum of Daisy Lowe has designed a range for Peacocks and very nice it is too. I normally hate peacocks because the East Kilbride store resembles a jumble sale but i was very impressed with these lovely dresses. I knew Pearl Lowe designed Vintage lace curtains and these dresses look like they are made from some quality lace.
My favourite dress is the Red lace one which is a pity as it the only one sold out meh!!!! the sequin one is nice too but i can't see past the red one so off to Ebay.

Orla Kiely Madness

Well since i am redecorating my house my love of clothes and cosmetics is coming secondary to my love of household items and i have developed an unhealthy obsession with Orla Kielys fabulous retro designs. Her 50/60's Op art style prints are available in nearly every household textile going and i am slowly integrating them into my house without my Other half noticing mwahahaha.

I bought the Car park bedding from Dotmaison and it cost me nearly £90 for the whole set but i adore it and it makes the room exactly what i wanted it to be, i have Ikea malm furniture and dressing table so i wanted jazzy bedlinen to liven it up a little. The orla kiely Multi stem armchair from Heals is the stuff of my dreams but will set you back a cool £1000 so that will never ever happen, although if i win the lottery you can be sure it will be adorning my bedroom.

Renovation of my new kitchen starts this week so i have my eye on the Multi stem wallpaper (bottom pic) For a feature wall in my otherwise Neutral kitchen and have already decided on the pear print oven glove and tea caddy to match.I also love the red pear print place mats from Heals The great thing about her prints are you can clash them all together and it still looks great.

I have been scouring eBay for the orla kiely Target range which was only available in the US and managed to pick up a few goodies.

I will update with pics when the Kitchen is completed.

Gaga/ Lauper for MAC

aaah two of our favourite crazy Lady's are fronting the MAC viva glam campaign in 2010 yaaaaay, I love MACS choice of models for the viva glam aids fund. It will be interesting to see what the new viva glam shade is this time, surely they have ran out of shades, another pinky nude perhaps??? Anyway can't wait to see the images. 2010 is shaping up to be a good MAC year with rumoured collections being a collaboration with vivienne westwood (waaaaah) and disney villains as a follow up to fafi/barbie/hello kitty. I better start saving lol.
Pic credits to kiss and make up tv.

Tatty devine new goodies!!!

I love Tatty devine as everyone knows, the jewelery is so unique and unusual and slightly bonkers.

They have brought out a new typeface for the wonderful name necklaces called Ladybug (pictured above) and i want it in pale blue. I also adore these wee earrings and this fab pearly queen necklace,How cute are the mittens necklace i can just see them when im all wrapped up with my hat gloves and scarf on. just need to drop a few hints to Rob now .

Loving Topshop right now.

I have been searching for a Christmas dress and was torn between the 2 dresses above, The nude colour dress i love because i love the colour (not pink ..Nuuuude!!) and its made of lace with wee sequins. I also love the black mirrored christopher kane one. I finally decided i already owned too many black dresses and bought the nude one, it has a cut out area at the back which makes it a bit more unique.
I am seriously lusting over these shoes but will need to do some saving up i think, by which time they will be sold out likely!!!!
Otherwise just chilling today, my wee man is at school and its peeing it down outside so I'm relaxing with Jeremy kyle and my computer and a cappuccino aahhhh!!!!

Ooooooh i want!!!

.......... Nars the multiple coffret, Nars the multiple are cream to powder on a stick that can be used anywhere on the face, They are £27 each but are meant to be amazing!!! I have never wanted to spend the money to get one but always secretly longed for one. I had lusted over this 3 piece set on sephora. com but thought we'd never get it here but tonight i found it on space NK FOR £32 for the set, They are mini versions but all amazing shades,
There is Orgasm, peachy pink shimmery cream version of the best selling blusher.
Copacabana neutral shimmer ideal as highlighter
and South beach peachy tan colour to use as bronzer.
I'll let you know how i get on with them, can't wait.

Crown Brushes

Now my brush obsession is secondary to my lipstick addiction but its still apretty serious addiction. I had read on specktra that Crown brushes (not the paint makers) were really good and a great alternative to MAC brushes. I have bought quite a few MAC brushes but they are so expensive so i kind of get some guilt and self loathing when i do.
I ordered the 3 pictured brushes from the coastal scents site as they sell the crown brushes. There is also a UK site but its more expensive.
The ones with the brown handles are the Italian badger brushes , i bought the blusher angled brush and the flat bronzer buffer brush. They are both really great quality and soooo soft. I use the slanted brush for blush or bronzer to contour and the buffer brush for loose powder.
The 3rd brush is the Duo fiber brush, a dupe for MAC'S 187 brush. Its just as good as MACS WHICH COSTS £25 where as the crown one is about a quarter of the price. Its amazing at stippling on my foundation and gives an airbrushed finish.
I will definitely be buying more brushes from this company.

New hair.

Sorry for the crap picture, but just wanted to show you my new hairdo!!! Had it blonde all over for ages and wanted to try something different so got dark flashes down one side. Was thinking of going dark but shat out of it again. Think I'll be blonde till i die haha!!!

Nars Schiap lipstick

One of my new lipsticks. I've been wanting this lipstick for ages and finally decided to buy it. NARS schiap is based on the Bright pink lipstick that was Elsa Schiaparelli the italian designer of the art deco period's signature look ( famous for the Lobster dress). The lipstick is thus named after her.
Its a semi-matt and super duper bright fuchsia almost neon, its very similar to MAC show orchid.
I love this lipstick and its my first NARS lipstick im very impressed with the semi-matt finish as it stays on forever.
byyyeee x

My favourite Pink lipstick Colours.

Some of my favourite Pink lipstick colours. I am obsessed with pink lipstick and have far too many. Left to right MAC Chatterbox, Pink Noveau, Snob,Angel , Girl about town. All amazing in their own way.

Lipstick Storage.

Yay my lipstick storage boxes are here. and all my lipsticks fit in it. Sadly they are too small for my lipglosses to have kept them in baskets in my dressing table, the lipstick display fits perfectly and means i don't need to hunt through a pile of 60 lipsticks to find the one i want. The guy i bought them from gave me an extra one because he charged me too much for postage, so its currently on eBay.

MAC Gladiola from Dame Edna

I'm in a lipstick obsessive mood at the moment so i will post a few of my fave lipsticks and the first one is Gladiola fro the Dame edna collection, its nearly a year old now but I've rediscovered the beauty of it. Its a matt purply pink and so bright in real life. Heres a pic of me wearing it!
The lipsticks at the top are all MAC and left to right Coryl polyp. Gladiola, Show orchid , Ravishing (thanks katy)

Nars turkish delight alike!!!!

So i finally almost found a dupe for Nars turkish delight the dearest and best lipgloss ever in my opinion. I have lost 5 of these babies on a night out so decided to try the cheaper version so bought a job lot of 20 on eBay. Its called Neutrogena groove and its only available in the US

So is it similar? as you can see from the above pic Nars turkish delight (on left) is slightly lighter and more opaque. The neutrogena one is sheerer and not as milky but i still really like it.
